Authentic Bead Mechanics

A true 1:4 abacus layout — one heaven bead, four earth beads per rod, 15 rods. The bead action feels exactly like the abacus used in classrooms across Asia. No motors, no gimmicks: your hands do the math.

Infrared Bead Sensing

Every rod carries IR sensors that read the exact position of every bead, continuously. The device knows the number on the abacus at all times — so the app can verify each step of a calculation, not just the final answer.

Bluetooth pairing takes about 30 seconds. The abacus streams bead events to the Undugu app, which responds with lessons, games, voice guidance, and progress tracking in real time.
